Sin in the most basic sense comes from archery and means “missing the mark.” It is not a failure of mind knowing and will deciding – the grist for the mill of religious morality. It is the delusion of duality, the lie of separation – the grist for the mill of spirituality.
We don’t know what we don’t know; we can’t see that we can’t see. It’s at the most unconscious and subconscious level. It is not our fault; but it is our responsibility.
Our task as humans is to uncover and discover the lie so we can be brought into the truth.
My prayer: “Please remove the lenses of my history so that I can see and greet reality as it truly is actually.”
