In AA we rewrite our story. We stop resisting – that is our surrender. Then we get into action.
AA allows us a “do over.” We start anew. We realize: “I am the common denominator of my problems.” My life is not about me. I am not that important.
Our mantra becomes: “How can I help?” We live as the solution.
