Meditations & Reflections
Bill Wilson wrote in the Preface to the 1st Edition of Alcoholics Anonymous, “our way of living may have its advantages for all”. Steps 1 through 9 are the Program of Recovery – “placed in a position of neutrality.” RECOVERED! The initial promise of completing Step 9 is an experience of awakening. The ongoing promise of practicing Steps 10, 11, & 12 is the Program for Living. “Enter the world of Spirit”; “Our WAY of Life”. “NOT CURED”; “DAILY REPRIEVE!” This is our daily PRACTICE of sustaining, improving, and enlarging our awakening. The promise and the prediction that we can live “happy, joyous, and FREE!”
